Hello all Did you know they were making these things? www.pyramidairsoft.com/ProductDetails.aspx?productID=993&referer=I thought about getting one to shoot at squirrels and "field birds" in our backyard. Apparently they also make them with CO2 cartridge power also. If you read the comments - these folks also have problems getting spare magazines! And they cost darn near what the real ones cost - HA!

I've seen from Sigs to HK's to AR 15's in airsoft. There is a big market for airsoft right now. I think it has gotten bigger than paint ball. I work with someone who plays regularly and he is an older gentleman. Its not just a youngster sport. They do "war games" and some of the airsoft rifles and pistols can cost into the hundreds of dollars, almost costing the same as real firearms.

You're right, Kenny. It is humorous to check YouTube videos with kids talking like the "big boys" giving reviews and instruction in field stripping their gun. You actually can field strip some of these, and the inside is more complicated than our SP2022s! People are really into this. I also noted that some of these cost the same as real guns. Certainly the magazines are the same price, and the mags I've seen are truly toys compared to ours. What a racket!

My little brother has a full auto ak74u airsoft gun, thing is pretty fun actually. Those BB's curve up like crazy!

Yes - I've noticed the pistol (a "1911" type) I got to shoot at undesirables in the back yard tends to shoot high. I will admit that it is fun to set up a target, sit in the back yard with a cool one and cigar, and test the consistency of these airsoft guns. I may actually pick up either the 2022 or 226 airsoft version - watching for sales. HobbyTron has a lot of specials.
