Academy sports sells Turkish manufactured shotguns branded Yildiz. The ones I have seen have Academy roll marked on the barrel. I did some research and they seem popular in Europe and Academy sports are the only American importers of them. They have some nice looking over and unders but I was interested in the pump 12ga. Has anyone ever shot one. They have Walnut stocks and forearms that are nice quality ones for the under $300 price tag. There are close to no customer reviews out there on the pump and I guess I am old school and I like the wood over synthetic and thats what draws me to them, oh and the price too.

I looked these up after you posted this, very interesting guns. I just watched a show the other day on the high dollar hand made berettas, very interesting. I wonder how these guns perform? They look really nice.

While I don't own a Yildiz pump, I do have an over/ under 12ga. Put around 500 rounds through it with no problems, came with 5 choke tubes and a lifetime warranty. I will say, it's kinda light so it does kick a little, but I'm 6'1" and weigh 145lbs so it could just be me. Personally, I love shotguns, cheap to shoot, easy to maintain, and a lot of fun. Bought the 12ga at Academy for $399. Nice walnut stock and engraved nickel receiver, beautiful gun for a lot less than other O/U's. Saving now for the 20ga model.
