Should I duracoat my new SP2022 polymer with Magpul Flat Dark Earth? I have a little left, and I'm debating on whether I should. Would look sharp, and even match the AR15.

I thought about doing mine in stainless to match my wifes bersa. Masking off the gripping surface of the grips.

Just duracoated only the removable backstrap. I added just a bit of black to the FDE duracoat, and I really don't like the turnout. It's more of a bluish-grey now. I'll post a pic.
Also, I used sand paper to rough up the polymer. That was a mistake as well because now it's fuzzy in some places, giving it the illusion of accelerated wear.
I'm wondering if the polymer is good enough just to de-grease it and spray it without having to rough it up.

Just enough to knock off the shiny without leaving deep scratches.
