Loving the 2022, but one thought. I went to the gun shop yesterday, and asked to feel a P229. When I was working the de-cocking lever, it was crisp and free of any bindings. On the new 2022, I feel like it's metal on polymer drag all the way down to decock and then all the way back up. Am I the only one? It works fine, but just wondering maybe it's a break-in thing to.

Mine was smooth from the first and actually activated with minimal movement. The one on the 226 I held seemed like it almost went all the way down before it decocked it.

Give it some time. If the gun is new, there's no way to tell how it will be after decocking it couple hundred times. It has to be broken in just like the slide and the other internals.

Out of the box mine didn't behave in that manner, Chadc. Hopefully a break-in thing.

When I bought mine I was checking out the display unit, I noticed zero drag or hang ups.

It seems to be loosening up a bit with me working it over and over. Looks like a breakin thing.
