Hey all,
I just found your nifty website while searching for some stuff for my SP2022. I bought a 9mm contrast sight version in July, and have put about a thousand rounds through it thus far. I have my LTCF (CCW permit) here in PA, and have been carrying it everywhere possible (except on Penn State's campus). As you may have deduced, I am a college student; I'm in my Junior year as a Security & Risk Analysis major, looking at possible jobs in analyst or LE positions in the FBI or similar. Anyway, I'll probably be asking questions at some point about OWB holsters, carry ammo choice, and other stuff, but for now I just wanted to introduce myself.

Welcome, happy to have you. You will find that for carry ammo we are almost all going to say Federal HST.

Welcome to the forum from Texas and a fellow 2022 owner in 9mm and it is my EDC. +1 on the HSTs for HD/SD ammo.

Hello, Bakeru, and welcome from Missouri. I grew up in eastern Pennsylvania, and went to Penn State (State College) myself back in the late 60s. I am sure it has changed considerably.

Thank you all. I'm in the process of buying and testing Underwood Ammo's 147 grain Gold Dot offerings (+P), and I'll be sure to pick up a box of 147 grain HSTs to compare. Additionally, I'll be trying to make my own Kydex OWB holster and mag pouches from my three hours' worth of YouTube video knowledge. I'll probably make a thread about it so that you all can laugh at my failures.

I was told once that it is only a failure if you stop trying. Good luck with your holster project. There is a thead here in the how to section on making holsters that my lend you some tips.
