Very nice work! I usually polish the Feed Ramp on my pistols and you are correct, the Nitron finish is tough! I usually polish the top section of the barrel over the chamber area so as the wear marks are not noticed.

Nice work! Without a dremel, I think it will be tough to get the small groves worked out. Maybe get a wire wheel for your drill?

Thanks, gentlemen. I'll have to look into other attachments for fine work. My one son has a dremel, so he might be able to help. I would not want to tackle the feed ramp without one, as difficult as it was to get the nitron off the flat surface.
Has anyone taken the nitron off the entire slide? Or at least the various levers? Just curious what the "lessons learned" might be......

I saw a 2022 that had been bead blasted and then had ports cut into the slide but did not use a ported barrel.
