The reduced weight hammer springs for the older model Sig P220 work like a champ in the Sig Pro / SP2022. I used the 18lb Wolff gun springs for the P220 serial numbers prior to 0219166. Wolff stock nbr 29718 pack of 10. In the attached pick is one stock SP2022 hammer spring and 2 of the P220 springs from wolff. I think the stock spring was the one on the left. These drop DA trigger pull to 8.5 lbs and SA to 4 or so per my calibrated trigger finger. My "comp" gun is using one of these with 2 coils knocked off. Attachments:

I have been testing these lighter springs in several of the 2022's for a few months now. My EDC has a full length p220 spring and is a bit lighter in DA than stock 8.5 to 9 lbs.
With 1 full coil removed from the 220 spring. DA is around 8 lbs, SA right at 3.5 to 4. Primer strikes are positive and I note no difference in primer strike depth with US primers. I have not tested with any extra hard primers and would be very surprised if was not 100%.
I did go little far with my gun games 2022 and took 2.25 coils off of the 220 spring, this is too light for my taste. It ran 100% with federal primers, but I do note a slight difference in primer strikes from stock and would expect reliability issues with hard primers. I am going to go back to the P220 spring with 1 coil removed.

Hello I'm new to this forum and I just wanted to know if this spring upgrade works with the sp-2022 in .40 ?
