As I said in my Fiocchi post I experienced double digit failure to feed with their .40 s&w fmj in a shooting session of 100 rds. I shot American Eagle today with ZERO issues.

They just opened an American Eagle store in Springfield - do they have good deals on ammo?
Did you shoot round nose or hollow points? And, what grain size?

Geobob, are you sure that it isn't an "American Eagle" Outfitters clothing store that they opened? I always thought the American Eagle ammo was just a branch off of Federal Ammunition. I have seen some American Eagle Outfitters stores around my area but was unaware that they sold anything else except clothes.

I wish they would open a store like that in my area.

Did you shoot round nose or hollow points? And, what grain size? I was shooting a .40 S&W 180 grain FMJ. They weren't very rounded, very flat if that makes sense.

But the AE was rounded, much more so than the Fiocchi.
